I love the way she’s always right there to defend Chase to anyone who dares utters a negative word. What ensues between Chase and Briar is somewhat unbelievable, yet charming and sweet. There she discovers another world, and apart of herself she never knew. Once they hit the ranch the book takes on a different feel in the story and this is my favorite part of the book all the way to the end.
