It’s the best WotC offering to date and IMO one of the best official D&D modules of any edition. However, that’s not a very high bar for the most. The Reavers of Harkenwold adventure is, in a word, excellent. There is plenty of information in Reavers of Harkenwold for a party that loves . I also later wrote about that particular adventure on the D&D message boards. You could probably run the Keep on the Shadowfell adventure, throwing out the parts that are completely tangential. As well as twisting halls since it leads into this adventure. I harrkenwold up making it an RP encounter where they had to trick the mage and trap him in his lair.

The battle for Albridge can become an epic tactical combat! The adventure is really a series of non-linear small encounters — contact the rebellion, upset the supply lines, recruit more rebels, negotiate with the Elves, fight off d&dd etc.
There hakenwold some free ones around like Tobold’sbut a dry erase board should work just as well. The loot is easy to customize, and there is a decent mix of encounters, skill challenges, and potential quest XP. I believe I used a Moonshae Isles adventure, followed by a home-brew that I wrote as a follow-up to that one, followed by adventures in Waterdeep, Cormyr and Aglarond.

I had a whole script written up for the guy who actually hired the tough guys, but the party passed a bluff roll and the guy believed they were the now dead guys. I started to run it in 5th, but I did not get very far. Not only is it non-linear, but there is room to drop in side-quests or reavees other ideas on might have to fill it out for your group.
For this campaign, I set up a few hooks, but my party missed all of them. A rebel resistance has sprung up and it’s up to the PCs to help liberate the Duchy. Do not suggest, promote, or perform piracy.
If they save, they are no longer stunned or taking damage, but they are still swallowed. It then moves into the various encounters that the PCs may meet. The first begins with a thorough overview of the plot of the adventure in both a super-brief format here are the three or four major points of the plot as well as a longer format for book 1 that goes over the flow of that section.
I was not sure what level would be appropriate for each part. That’s what I planned to do was just use similar monsters from the MM.
