The ending was a little abrupt, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that I’m okay with that! Hercule Poirot 1 – 10 of 41 books.

This did not diminish my interest to read further and discover how the mystery unravels. What makes it different though as Hercule doesn’t narrate this story at all, and he’s only a side character. Despite a massive manhunt, she was not found for eleven days. I knew I had to read this book by a certain date but boy did I have problems even getting past ten pages.

We learn early on that he is famous and admired and sought-after.

First as a neighbor who has an accident with gardening, then a loyal friend, then an intervening detective with an ironic twist at the end. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Stylescame out in That same evening Agatha disappeared from her home, leaving behind a letter for her secretary saying that she was going to Yorkshire.
